To help their country fight #COVID19 joined the response to the pandemic through 13 unique and colourful cartoons
Seven Iraqi artists determined to help their country fight #COVID19 joined the response to the pandemic through 13 unique and colourful cartoons that raise public awareness and dispel rumours, highlight human rights issues and salute the courage the resilience of Iraqi healthcare workers.
In this video, these four Iraqi men and three women volunteers take us through their thoughts as they explain in their own words the images they drew covering a number of issues, including countering existing stigma and discrimination, raising awareness against domestic violence and the limitations of access to education and highlighting the bravery of the healthcare workers.
