UN Iraq Annual Results Report 2025

The United Nations Country Team (UNCT) in Iraq has published its Annual Results Report 2025, presenting key achievements and results delivered during the first year of implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2025–2029.

Working in partnership with the Government of Iraq, civil society organizations and development partners, 25 UN entities supported national efforts to advance inclusive social development, sustainable economic growth, climate resilience, good governance and the rule of law.

The report also provides an overview of Iraq's development context, progress under the four Strategic Priorities of the Cooperation Framework, financial performance, operational lessons learned and priorities for 2026.

The report reaffirms the United Nations' commitment to supporting Iraq's National Development Plan 2024–2028, Iraq Vision 2030, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
