UN’s Kubiš Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings to Iraqis

Baghdad, 14 June 2018 – The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General (SRSG) for Iraq, Mr. Ján Kubiš, extends his warmest greetings and wishes for peace and prosperity to all Muslims and to all the Iraqi people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
“Eid-ul-Fitr is a time of joy and celebration as Muslims are marking the end of their fasting during the holy month of Ramadan,” Mr. Kubiš said.
“My best wishes to all Muslims in particular and to all the people of Iraq, in general, on this joyous occasion. Eid Mubarak,” he concluded.
