On 19 August, the United Nations in Iraq commemorated the 23rd anniversary of the bombing of the Canal Hotel in Baghdad in 2003, which killed 22 UN colleagues and injured many others.We honour their memory and stand with the survivors, families and all those affected by this tragedy.Their legacy and service continue to inspire the United Nations family.
