The Sand and Dust Storms Compendium is a collaborative effort led by the Secretariat of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) in collaboration with the UNCCD Science-Policy Interface (SPI), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), UN Women, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and external experts and partners.
