SRSG Ad Melkert Concludes Visit to Kurdistan Region of Iraq

During his visit, Mr. Melkert held productive meeting with President Massoud Barzani, Dr. Barham Salih Head of the Kurdistani list, the Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament and other senior KRG officials on ways to increase UN engagement in the Northern Region. He also met with representatives of UN agencies, funds and programmes providing support in the area.
