I extend to you my best wishes and warmest greetings on the occasion of Easter.

The Christian community in Iraq is rooted in this good land. It has been an essential component in Mesopotamia throughout history and adds to its unique diversity.

We in the United Nations affirm the importance and role of the Christian community in Iraq as part of the rich diversity of this country.

We look forward to good days and a promising future for the Christians of Iraq and all Iraqis as they contribute to the advancement of Iraq.

You bring pride to this ancient country. Your heritage is highly appreciated, and this requires all of us to protect it, care for it, and ensure its continuity.
