As part of Iraq’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its national response to climate change, the Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF), organized a national training workshop on 14–15 April entitled “Integrating Climate Adaptation Concepts into Public Education Curricula.” The event saw active participation from the Ministries of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as international organizations including UNICEF.
